The Colours of Quantum

The Colours of Quantum
is a contemplative performance installation where light, movement, and sound give form to the elusive world of quantum science. Inspired by entanglement, superposition, and the ongoing search for understanding, two circles of light drift across the walls of a darkened space—merging, reflecting, and evolving. Shadows slide and colors blend, dancing across architecture and bodies alike. This immersive experience invites the audience to feel quantum phenomena rather than explain them, offering a poetic encounter at the threshold of the visible and invisible.

Created in collaboration with the Cluster of Excellence QuantumFrontiers and artists Niels Weijer and Michael Tuttle, The Colours of Quantum bridges the gap between science and art through a sensory exploration of what it means to perceive—and be—within the quantum field.
